This is Chu! He is an active, talkative 9 year old boy. Chu lives in a foster family and he has adapted very well to life there. Each morning, he gets dressed (with a little bit of help), washes his face, and eats breakfast. After his meal, he uses his walking aid to walk over to the neighbor’s house to play and chat. After heading home, he likes to watch TV and spend time with his foster family.
Chu’s muscle tension is relatively high, so he participates in rehabilitation training. His caretakers feel that he has average intelligence, and they tell us he is able to express his own thoughts and ideas verbally. Right now he is able to eat and drink on his own, and he continues to learn self-care skills.
Could you be Chu’s forever family?
