*This child was formally on the shared list*
From Aug 2013:
On admission, Gerald looked thin. Under the meticulous care of nannies, he becomes stronger. Everyday, after drinking formula, he would be taken to rehabilitation room for cerebral palsy children inside the institute by physical therapist to do some rehabilitation training. The physical therapy mainly includes message. Under the great care of therapists, Gerald recovers very well. For children who have cerebral palsy, the best chance for them to do rehabilitation training is in the period between 3-month to 6-month old. During this period, he received rehabilitation training together with medical treatment everyday and improved very fast. Now, he can sit up, stand and climb up and down stairs all by himself. Besides, he knows big and small, can recognize some simple shapes, is able to understand nannies’ talk and can ask some simple questions like “what’s this”, can put on clothes, unbutton, wash hands, go to restroom all by himself. Maybe due to his cerebral palsy, Gerald a little timid and shy. He likes to imitate others’ movement and communicate actively with nannies that he’s familiar with. He gets on very well with children living in the same room and likes to listen to music. Gerald is a strong boy who is a little bit introversive. Everyone likes him very much. Everyone wishes that he could get a home and living a better life as early as possible.
