This is Min! He just celebrated his 5th birthday last month. Min is introverted and is very shy. He is close to his familiar caretakers, but he is frightened by strangers and unfamiliar places. He loves when his caretakers play with him and amuse him – it always makes him smile! When you give him a toy he know to take it, and he can reach out his hand to grab toys that he wants. Min has high muscle tension in his limbs, so he is able to turn over, sit, and crawl for now. He can make “ah ah” sounds, but he is not talking. The caretakers feel his intelligence, language, and behavior development are delayed. Min is not able to take care of his own needs, so he needs an adult’s help. Min needs a patient, loving family who can give him a lot of one-on-one attention!
