Xi is a sweet, lovable 9 year old with a gentle soul. His caretakers tell us he is shy and can be introverted, but he likes to play with other kids and be around familiar people. Even though he is a little timid, he is protective of his foster family and will be brave when he feels he needs to be.
Xi is diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and hit his mile stones a little bit later than most children, but overall he has good mobility! He can run, jump on one foot, and go up and down stairs. He loves to dance and will immediately begin to move when he hears music. He can handle many self-care tasks on his own, too!
Xi is not enrolled in school right now – his caretakers feel his intelligence is normal, but his learning ability is not very strong. He can say simple double-syllable words, but he is pretty quiet and prefers not to talk very much. He can understand what is said to him, but in general, it seems he does not respond verbally.
This sweet boy has so much potential! Could you be his forever family?
