Child's Code: Jia
Birth Date: 2/25/2016
Gender: Female
Description: Jia’s nannies tell us she is a quiet, cute, and elegant baby girl. She is one year old and will be turning 2 in February! Jia is diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a condition characterized by fragile bones, so her nannies pay very close attention to her. She is not able to interact with the other kids as much as her peers’, but she loves to be doted upon by her nannies and is interested in an toy that makes sound. Her favorite toy right now is her rattle, and she listens very attentively to the sounds it makes as she shakes it. Her caretakers say it is very cute!

Jia’s motor development is delayed due to her medical condition, so she cannot crawl, stand, or walk. Her muscle tension is low, but she can raise her head and turn it to both sides. She is imitating words, but she is not able to say real words clearly quite yet. She seems to understand what is said to her and will follow simple directions such as “wave goodbye”.

Could you be Jia’s forever family?
