In November of 2009, Colten had surgery, and after the surgery, he recovered well. Now he is a year old. Because of his illness, he currently still cannot sit stably on his own. If he lies flat, he can roll over on his own. When you put him in the baby walker or on his little seat, he can stay there for a while. If you leave him there a little too long, he will cry and fuss. His favorite thing to do is to play with toys while he lies down. He will grab a few small toys on his own. His four limbs can move freely. He likes to put his fingers in his mouth to suck on; moreover he also makes sucking noises. Currently he can’t say any words. Even if people call him, his reaction is not very quick.
The nannies all really like him. They hope that he soon has his own family to include him, and that he develops healthily and happily under the care of a father and mother.
