Waiting Child Spotlight

Meet James!

James is an energetic and obedient boy who enjoys sports and painting. He likes to ride his scooter or bicycle, draw pictures, and play with building blocks, balls, and toy cars. James enjoys school and always offers help to caregivers. He attends counseling and has developed a strong relationship with the counselor and caregivers, which helps him think more positively about himself. James is looking for his forever family. Could it be you?

FAQs

To ensure maximum exposure and the best advocacy for the children still waiting to find their forever families, Cathwel’s partner agencies have access to all available children’s files. In that same respect, CCAI allows multiple families to review the same child(ren) ‘s files at any time.

Typically, each agency may submit only one family for consideration of a particular child or sibling group to Cathwel. The final match determination is made by Cathwel, who selects the adoptive family they feel will best meet the child’s specific needs.

At this time, no. CCAI only works with Cathwel for the placement of Taiwanese children, and as such, all children must be in Cathwel’s care to qualify for placement with a CCAI family.

Home Study Agencies

Families adopting from Taiwan must work with a Hague-accredited or COA-accredited home study agency to complete their home study report. If you are living in CO, FL, GA, TX, or WY, CCAI will be your home study provider. For all other states, please visit the link below to find a home study provider in your area.
