AND is a bright and affectionate child eager to learn and grow. He keeps up with his educational level, follows instructions, and performs simple math operations. Generally calm, respectful of authority, and receptive to guidance, he sometimes avoids adult instructions. When upset, he steps away to regulate his emotions and returns to express his feelings, a skill he is actively developing. His interactions with peers and behavior at school continue to improve, and he shows a growing ability to give and receive affection.
He enjoys playing with friends, watching TV, and using the computer. Sports bring him joy, especially swimming, basketball, soccer, and Frisbee. He also loves music, dancing, and singing, and he expresses his creativity through drawing, coloring, and building with Legos. Board games, video games, and cycling are also among his favorite activities. Comfort is important to him, and he prefers sporty clothing.
AND has soft tissue enlargement in his right arm and fingers, including macrodactyly in his third finger. He is undergoing medical evaluations to explore surgical options that may enhance his self-esteem and dexterity. His future family should be prepared to support his medical and therapeutic needs, including psychiatric and psychological care. He is currently receiving pharmacological treatment as part of his support plan.
Excited to find a family, AND will thrive in a home that provides structure, clear expectations, and flexibility where needed. Visual aids, positive reinforcement, and consistent emotional support will help him flourish. Shared activities—both academic and recreational—will strengthen family bonds, and open communication will be key to helping him manage emotions.
AND needs a patient and understanding family committed to his emotional well-being. He has a kind heart and a bright spirit. Could your family be the one to give him the love, stability, and encouragement he deserves?
