We want to introduce you to EVO, a warm, affectionate boy who is waiting and hoping for what every child deserves: a family to call his own.
EVO is energetic and sociable, with a positive outlook and plenty of confidence. He loves capoeira, boxing, karate, basketball, and cycling, and also enjoys drawing, music, and video games. Red and green are his favorite colors. EVO is easy to talk with, keeps his friendships going over time, and nothing makes him happier than hearing how much he’s grown.
Over the years, EVO has watched many friends take part in hosting and then leave Colombia to join their adoptive families. He has celebrated every one of them, and he is hoping his turn is coming. More than anything, EVO wants a family who will love and accept him just as he is.
We are making a special plea for EVO. Would your family consider hosting him with adoption in mind and becoming the family he has been waiting for?

ALE, MAN, and DAH are three siblings hoping to be hosted and eventually adopted together. ALE is nearing an age where his adoption window is closing. He’s even told his caseworker he’d be willing to be separated from his younger brother and sister if it meant a better shot at adoption for them, but MAN and DAH aren’t willing to imagine life without him. A family who can open their hearts to all three could be exactly what keeps this family together!
ALE is resilient, kind, and respectful. He gets along well with his teachers and peers, follows the rules without being asked twice, and has a close group of friends he’s loyal and affectionate with. Soccer is a big part of his world. He plays midfielder, trains regularly, and is a die-hard Real Madrid and Atlético Nacional fan. When he’s not on the field, he games, does calisthenics, hangs out with friends, or watches a good psychological drama. ALE’s got big plans for his future: keep playing soccer, study international business, and eventually run his own company.
MAN is a joy to be around! He’s affectionate, chatty, and jumps into everything with both feet. He serves as an altar boy at his church and looks forward to it every weekend. Give him a soccer ball, a bike, a skateboard, or a basketball, and he’s happy; he loves teaming up with his sister for roleplaying games or losing himself in his Nintendo. He’s a bit of a bookworm, having recently read Don Quixote and Pinocchio, and he likes writing his own stories and poems. He’s earned academic awards at school, loves pizza, and always seems to be wearing a shirt with one of his favorite characters on it.
DAH is cheerful and easygoing, easy to be around, and well liked by her classmates. She’s respectful with the adults in her life and has good friendships at school. She especially loves going for walks with the people close to her. DAH’s also creative and expressive, drawn to music and dance. She hits the skating rink once a week. When she’s not moving, she draws, paints, plays with dolls, or dreams up her own stories through roleplay. She loves Frozen and Barbie, likes a good dress or skirt paired with boots, and always has some colorful accessory in her hair. At school, she loves decorating her notebooks to make them her own.
Could you be the family that keeps these siblings together? We need a family willing to jump into the adoption process and give these siblings the love they deserve!

SAL is cheerful, kind, and affectionate, with a cooperative and respectful nature that makes her well liked by everyone she meets. She does well in school and especially enjoys English, math, and Spanish. She has shown strong resilience and emotional stability, and she builds and keeps friendships easily, connecting warmly with younger children, peers, adults, and animals alike.
SAL loves being active. She does gymnastics, swims, skates, plays outdoor games, and is currently excited to learn how to ride a bike. She also has strong drawing skills and uses art to express her feelings. She loves animals, especially dogs and cats, and looks forward to visits to the farm and the park. Birthdays, Christmas, Holy Week, and Halloween are among her favorite times of year. She dreams of becoming a nurse, a hotel manager, or a flight attendant, and imagines living in another country and traveling.
What makes SAL happiest is simple: trips to the park and visits to the farm. More than anything, she desires time with a family.
She wants love and affection, quality time, shared family meals, and support for her dreams.
Could your family host SAL and possibly become her forever family?

The soccer ball never seems to leave DAN’s side. He plays forward one day, defender the next, and either way he plays like it matters, cheering for his teammates from the field. He wears his hair styled just so and likes to dress the part, whether that means a shirt and tie for a special occasion or a Cristiano Ronaldo jersey for pickup games at the park.
DAN likes a challenge. His teachers say that about him, whether it’s a hard math problem or a tough game on the field. He cares about his grades and works for them. People close to him call him responsible, easy to get along with, and affectionate. He’ll hug you without being asked and he notices when someone needs attention. His foster father says it doesn’t take much to make DAN happy: studying, playing with his friends, a good meal at the end of the day. He always says thank you for that meal, and he means it.
DAN sings in the school choir. He watches Netflix and YouTube when he has downtime. He enjoys cartoons that make him laugh. He wants to be a professional soccer player when he grows up.
DAN is ready and hopeful about finding a family. Asked what that would mean to him, he smiled, a little nervous, and said, “I want this, because those families love us, support us. I feel happy because they provide us with a school and welcome us as if we were their own children.” When he talks about the family he hopes for, he doesn’t ask for much beyond the basics of being loved: “I want a family that is very loving, that helps me with what I don’t understand, that gives me what I need, and that takes me out for walks and takes me to the park.”
Hosting DAN this winter could be the start of something bigger. DAN would feel blessed from a few weeks with a family who kicks a ball around with him, sits down to dinner together, and lets him feel what belonging is like. Ultimately, this could lead to his forever family!

Talk to RUE for five minutes and you’ll notice it: the vocabulary, the ease, the way she draws people in without even trying. She treats everyone with kindness, does well in school, and lights up, genuinely lights up, over the smallest things: a small gift, being noticed, a hug. Ask her about the future and she’ll tell you she wants to help people, maybe as a police officer.
RUE has waited through birthday after birthday for a family of her own. She’s still hoping.

JHO, JOH, and YAN are three siblings who do everything together, and they’ve made it clear they want to keep it that way. YAN is the natural big sister of the group, watching out for her brothers with real warmth. JOH is the one JHO looks up to and follows everywhere.
JHO is sociable and easy to like, always ready to play. He’s got a fondness for poetry, a soft spot for building with blocks, and he’s happiest on a bike, a skateboard, or a soccer field.
JOH gets along with just about everyone and is quick to share, cooperate, and notice how others are feeling. Soccer at the park is where he’s happiest, and right now he’s dreaming of going pro one day.
YAN is shy at first, but she warms up fast, talking easily and making new friends once she settles in. She has a real gift for painting and dance, and she loves puzzles, Legos, and board games.
These three have already built something rare between them. We hope a hosting family will open their home to all three, and discover firsthand just how special these siblings are!

He’s shy for about five minutes, then he’s not, and once he warms up, the conversation just flows. Soccer found CRI a month and a half ago and hasn’t let go since, it’s clearly become his thing, the place where his energy finally has somewhere to go. He likes to look put together, respond to a kind word with his whole chest, and talk with total certainty about the future he’s picturing: soccer player, no question.
CRI deserves a family who wants to know him, just as he is. That’s what he’s hoping for.

This talented trio consists of older brother JUL, middle brother JUA, and youngest sister SAR. Loyal and protective JUL likes to ensure that his siblings are well cared for. While they experienced some instability with their education when they were younger, all three are working hard to get caught up now! They all have big dreams for the future and recognize that education and a supportive family are necessary to achieve them.
14-year-old JUL is a joy to be around. He is charismatic and talkative…once he warms up to you. He likes to joke around, but it’s important for him to do it without hurting anyone’s feelings or being rude. He shows empathy and is always willing to help out others.
11-year-old JUA is similar to his older brother in many ways. They both love action movies like Fast and Furious. They also really enjoy capoeira and soccer. JUL hopes to be a professional goalie one day while JUA wants to be a racecar driver! Both boys are artistic and like to draw.
JUA is a people-pleaser who thrives on verbal affirmations. He seeks adult approval and affection, which makes him an obedient child. JUA is also inquisitive and likes to solve puzzles. He also likes the comfort of stuffed animals.
Youngest sister, SAR (7), is the ultimate girly girl. She loves dressing up in skirts or dresses and always accessorizes with necklaces, bows, or nail polish. SAR is a social butterfly who loves being the center of attention. She loves dancing and has a great imagination. Perhaps performing is in her future.
These three have all commented on their desire for love and affection. Can you show them the love of a family?
