Dahiana is a joyful girl who enjoys nature and outdoor activities. She loves being in fresh, open-air environments, especially playgrounds where she enjoys playing on swings. Dahiana is fond of personal items like hair accessories, bracelets, and earrings, showing her feminine side and preference for keeping her clothes clean and organized. However, she doesn’t mind whether she wears dresses or trousers. She prefers tennis shoes over flip-flops, sandals, or ballet flats. Her favorite toys include dolls, which she affectionately calls “babies,” and a stuffed cow she sleeps with every night. Dahiana is a big fan of Peppa Pig and prefers items that feature this character.
Dahiana has a keen sense of hearing and expresses joy through rhythmic music, imitating dance moves, and clapping her hands. She loves dancing and often invites others to join her.
Dahiana has been diagnosed with Autism and delayed speech, leading to challenges in language and age-appropriate activities. Currently, she is receiving speech therapy, language therapy, and occupational therapy, as well as psychiatric and neuropsychiatric assessments. She emotionally attaches to her caregiver and interacts well with her peers, enjoying activities like running, jumping, and clapping.
Dahiana communicates through simple words, signs, and short phrases, although she occasionally displays echolalia (repeating speech she has heard). She struggles to maintain attention and requires frequent reinforcement, and her ability to engage in conversations is limited. Dahiana’s usual mood is upbeat, and she remains calm. She needs support with daily self-care activities but is independent in moving from place to place.
Dahiana would thrive in a loving, patient, and understanding family that can provide a nurturing environment. A family dedicated to supporting her developmental needs and integrating her into daily family life is essential. Engaging in outdoor activities, dancing, and playing with familiar toys like her dolls and Peppa Pig items will help Dahiana feel comfortable and connected.
