Meet Ibrahim and Luna — a resilient sibling pair full of creativity, and warmth. They are eager to grow together in a loving and supportive family.
Ibrahim
Ibrahim is a thoughtful and emotionally aware young person who demonstrates cognitive and emotional development in line with his age. His motor skills are strong, and he moves with ease and coordination. He communicates clearly and can express his thoughts and feelings well.
Emotionally, Ibrahim has built a strong connection with his foster family. Though he was initially reserved due to earlier experiences, he now feels safe and supported, which has helped him grow socially and emotionally.
He enjoys staying active—sports help him manage his anxiety. Soccer and Jackido (self-defense) are his favorite activities. He’s also creative and enjoys working on arts and crafts with guidance from a local mentor. In his downtime, he likes playing board games like chess and dominoes, and he’s excited to play soccer with a local community program.
Ibrahim receives ongoing support through occupational therapy, speech therapy, and psychiatric services to help him with emotional and behavioral needs. He’s interested in a future career in technology and would do well in a family that is loving, structured, and emotionally supportive—one that encourages his interests and provides clear guidance. He’s open to different family types but would especially enjoy having siblings.
Luna
Luna is bright, expressive, and energetic. She has worked hard to overcome early emotional challenges and has made meaningful progress. She is learning to handle her emotions in a healthier way and is building confidence in her decision-making.
Luna is becoming more comfortable sharing her feelings and is learning how to build positive relationships with adults and peers. She is social, creative, and eager to connect with others.
She enjoys painting, drawing, and dancing. These activities help her express herself and bring her joy. She also likes board games and playing outside. Luna loves spending time with others—going for walks, sharing a treat, or simply being together.
She is motivated by the idea of adoption and dreams of a family who will love and support her. While she’d like a traditional family, her biggest hope is for stability, care, and connection.
Luna is making steady progress in learning, emotional development, and social skills. Her therapeutic support helps her continue to grow at school and at home.
She would do well with a patient, involved, and supportive family. She needs clear boundaries and consistent care, along with encouragement in school and chances to enjoy creative time together.

Ibrahim and Luna are ready for a home where they can stay together, continue growing, and know the safety and comfort of family. They are part of our Colombia Adoption Program. To learn more about adopting these precious siblings, please email colombia@ccaifamily.org.
