Sponsor an orphan in China and send them to summer camp!
“All I know and have been to my entire life is this orphanage and a few blocks around us. I often dream about a fun trip somewhere far like the ones I see on television, but I have never thought it would happen someday.” These heartfelt words were shared with me by Hongya, a 17-year-old orphan, tears welling in her eyes upon learning that she would be among the 22 kids from LinFen Orphanage journeying to Beijing this summer for a 6-day Fulfill-A-Wish Summer Camp.
This camp is not just a trip; it’s a transformative experience, a gateway to dreams realized, to experiences beyond the confines of their daily lives inside an orphanage. The campers will embark on their first bullet train ride, explore the magnificent Forbidden City, stand in awe before the towering Temple of Heaven, appreciate the artifacts in the National Museum, conquer the Great Wall, interact with animals at Beijing Zoo, and savor the delights of Peking Duck, hot-pot and local delicacies. It promises to be a journey filled with laughter, discovery, and cherished memories that could change their lives.
