Matilda, Mable, Maude, and Miriam are the sweetest sisters, waiting for their adoptive family in our Taiwan program! These girly sisters love role-playing games and Barbies!
Due to the challenges of adopting large sibling groups, only childless families or families with children ages ten and over will be considered to adopt these sisters.
Eight-year-old Matilda
Matilda is a lively 8-year-old when in a familiar environment. She enjoys outdoor activities, playing with Legos and Transformers, and she draws pretty well. Matilda is not picky and has a healthy appetite.
Seven-year-old Mable
Seven-year-old Mable has an introverted personality, especially in unfamiliar environments. It takes her some time to observe and get familiar with her surroundings. She is emotionally sensitive and has difficulty regulating her emotions. Thankfully, with intervention and counseling, she has become more emotionally stable, and the frequency of losing her temper has decreased. Mable loves princesses! She wants to be a teacher when she engages in role-playing.
Six-year-old Maude
Maude is a precious 6-year-old with a strong personality. When she is upset, she soothes quickly. Maude has a competitive streak that will help her as she gets older. Her favorite toys are constructive, such as puzzles and Legos.
Four-year-old Miriam
Miriam is an outgoing and curious four-year-old with exceptional social skills. She gets familiar with new people and environments quickly. Her sense of balance and motor skills are impressive, with dexterous limb praxis. Miriam’s abilities for learning, absorbing, and imitating are strong. She enjoys watching a Lovely Tiger (Chiao-Hu) cartoon or dancing to rhythm music. In addition, she loves riding a toddler scooter and pushbike.
It is important to keep siblings together!
We aim to keep these sisters together and seek an exceptional adoptive family to love these girls! All four girls are, for the most part, physically healthy. However, it will take a special and patient family to support them as they work through their history of trauma and related challenges.
We cannot show full pictures of the Hsu sisters due to privacy restrictions in Taiwan. However, our Taiwan team has photographs, videos, and information to share with interested families who meet pre-screening qualifications.

CCAI’s Taiwan program began in 2016 when our Taiwanese orphanage partner Cathwel invited CCAI to join efforts in finding loving families for Taiwan’s most vulnerable children. CCAI is known for having an extensive network of prepared adoptive families open to children’s medical and emotional needs, so it was a great fit! CCAI and Cathwel mutually support families through an ethical, transparent, and child-centered process.
