We are excited to advocate for these sweet 5-year-old TWIN boys, Adam & Vinny!
Adam’s gross motor skills are well-developed. He can run, climb, balance on one leg, throw, and sometimes catch a ball. Adam can also build a tower with 10 cubes and string and sort small figures.
Adam’s active attention can now be kept on a particular activity or task for extended periods. He understands what is said to him and follows familiar one-step instructions. Although his intellectual development does not correspond to his calendar age, Adam can learn new skills. He uses some words according to their meaning; he attempts to communicate by helping himself with gestures.
Adam’s twin brother Vinny walks, runs, climbs, throws, and kicks a ball. He can build a tower with 10 cubes and string and sort small figures. He cuts with scissors and tries to cut along a drawn line.
Vinny compares objects by color and shape but does not recognize or name them. Although his intellectual development does not correspond to his calendar age, Vinny is able to learn new skills. He perceives and understands words from his close surrounding environment. He uses several words according to their meaning and attempts communication using gestures.
