Dylan is a lively 10-year-old boy living in Taiwan, waiting for a loving, patient adoptive family. He likes toys, drawing, hula-hoops, and running. More than anything, he loves assembling Legos and sharing his accomplishment with his caregivers.
Dylan’s behavior has improved. He abides by the rules in his care center and responds well to corrections. His homeroom teacher notices that Dylan loves reading extracurricular books and creating origami and drawings. He hardly argues with his peers and has gained skills interpersonally over the last year with fewer behavioral outbursts.
His performance at school has improved, but his caregivers noticed his concentration and ability to stay on task significantly improved when he did school online during the pandemic. Therefore, he may benefit from a family that will home school him or enroll him in a small classroom setting.
With praise and support Dylan’s sweet personality shines through! Could you be Dylan’s adoptive family?
Dylan has ADHD and experienced abuse and trauma as a young child. He will need patient, loving adoptive parents with training in TBRI strategies. Please reach out to our Taiwan team to inquire about precious Dylan!
