In Bulgaria, sweet Greta has been with a foster family since age three but knows that “soon mommy and daddy will come!” While reported to have struggled with speech development, she sure has much to say in her videos.
She has made good progress at school, and her teacher says that with perseverance and patience, Greta catches up and improves her school skills and knowledge.
In her foster home, she likes to make herself useful and helps with daily chores for her family, such as serving food, cleaning the table, and taking the garbage outside. Greta loves running, jumping rope, and playing in the park. Generally, she prefers active games. Greta seeks attention from the other children and their company and takes the first step in developing friendships.
Greta is a curious 9-year-old girl, asking questions and seeking answers. Right now, she’s seeking an adoptive family – could it be YOU?
Please immediately contact our Bulgaria team if you’d like to learn more about lovely Greta!
We cannot show any pictures of Greta due to privacy restrictions in Bulgaria, however, our Bulgaria team has photographs, video, and information to share with interested families.
CCAI placed its first Bulgarian child in 2015; the program has grown ever since! Like most intercountry adoption programs today, Bulgaria places older children, children with special medical needs, and/or sibling groups. The most significant “need” is for families open to children eight and above and children with medical conditions. In addition, Families open to children with Down syndrome can often be matched in as little as 6-12 months from dossier submission!
