Meet Nancy, Ross, and Art! These precious siblings need an adoptive family who will keep them together!
The littlest sister, 7-year-old Nancy, is physically healthy but has some speech and cognitive delays. She makes eye contact and loves playing with toys. Caretakers suggest she work with a psychologist, special pedagogue, and speech therapist to stimulate development.
Middle child Ross is ten years old, has speech and cognitive delays, and struggles with attention and memory. Ross had a congenital metatarsal malformation of both feet and had surgery on his right foot as an infant. He loves toys and has no trouble making eye contact.
12-year-old Art is the oldest brother and has regular physical and neuropsychological development. After a head injury, he lost sight in his left eye. He had surgery to remove the cataract in the left eye.

CCAI placed its first Bulgarian child in 2015; the program has grown ever since! Like most intercountry adoption programs today, Bulgaria places older children, children with special medical needs, and/or sibling groups. The most significant “need” is for families open to children eight and above and children with medical conditions. In addition, families open to children with Down syndrome can often be matched in as little as 6-12 months from dossier submission!
