Sweet Nyla needs a forever family to help her thrive! According to her foster mother in Bulgaria, three-year-old Nyla does not speak but understands everything, recognizes people from her immediate environment, and laughs when she likes something.
When someone holds her hands, Nyla takes a few steps. She can crawl and tries to stand up independently by holding onto stationary support and turns quickly from back to stomach and vice versa.
Nyla is firmly attached to her foster parents and feels most secure with them. She loves to go for a ride in a pram and visit playgrounds. Nyla is curious about toys in her environment and (non-verbally) shows preferences for her favorite children’s movies. She’s currently receiving rehabilitation services intending to strengthen the torso muscles and lower and upper extremities.
Sweet Nyla needs a loving family ready to welcome and help her thrive! Please get in touch with CCAI’s Bulgaria team asap to learn more!
CCAI placed its first Bulgarian child in 2015, and the program has grown ever since! Like most intercountry adoption programs today, Bulgaria places older children, children with special medical needs, and sibling groups. The most significant “need” is for families open to children eight and above and children with medical conditions. In fact, CCAI can often match families open to children with Down syndrome in as little as 3-6 months from dossier submission!
CCAI’s parent preparation resources give families the tools to welcome a special child into their hearts and home. The Bulgaria program is running strong, and CCAI warmly invites families to view just a few of the many children waiting for their forever families.
